Nature of the service
CircularPass provides a self-service software tool to help small and medium businesses in the textile, footwear and furniture sectors structure product information in the general format expected of a Digital Product Passport (DPP) under the EU Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR, Regulation (EU) 2024/1781).
Important: CircularPass is not a certification body, notified body or accredited conformity assessment organisation. The passports, QR codes, JSON records and checklists generated through this website and tool are support materials to help you organise your own compliance work. They do not constitute, replace or guarantee official certification, verification or conformity assessment required by any competent authority, notified body, or market surveillance authority in any EU member state.
It is the sole responsibility of the user to verify the accuracy, completeness and legal sufficiency of any data submitted to or generated by this tool, and to obtain any official certification or verification required under applicable law before placing a product on the market.
Limitation of liability
CircularPass is not liable for misuse of the tool, for decisions taken on the basis of information generated by it, or for infringements committed by third parties (including but not limited to customers, suppliers or business partners of the user) that make use of data, passports or documents generated through this service. The service is provided "as is", without warranty of fitness for a specific regulatory purpose, given that applicable delegated acts under the ESPR are, as of the time of publication, still under development for several product categories.
Intellectual property
The CircularPass name, logo, visual identity and website content are the property of CircularPass, except where third-party sources are explicitly cited.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the provider's place of establishment within the European Union, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules of the user's country of residence.
